prayerLord Jesus,
I need to hear these ancient words once again:
Unite my heart to fear your name.
I am so scattered, Lord.
Pulled in so many directions.
So easily distracted.
How quickly I forget who you are.
How quickly I forget your goodness to me.
Unite my heart, Lord.
Put it back together again.
Refocus my thoughts.
Clarify my purpose.
Grant that I should want you more than anything else.
Thank you for your many gifts, freely given.
Forgive me for loving your gifts more than I love you.
In confessing this I ask for forgiveness in Jesus' name.
Here is my heart, Lord.
Come in and rearrange things.
Make me new from the inside out.
Thank you for loving me even when I seem to lose my way.
I love you, Lord. Do your work in me.
Unite my heart to fear your name.
Amen.

Kids love museums! There are science museums, ancient artifact museums, natural history museums, art museums, and lots of hand-on museums. Museums are places where we can learn all sorts of fun and exciting things and where we can view the old and look at the new.

This museum VBS course is about a museum called the Bible Discovery Museum. Just as the name implies, here we make interesting discoveries about the Bible because, “everything that was written in the past was written to teach us.” This imaginary museum VBS course contains five great halls. Each hall teaches us about God’s love and how his children respond to that love. Every day kids enter a different hall where Bible heroes tell their stories, and where interesting Bible artifacts teach them fascinating truths about God’s Word. Includes a printable take-home booklet of Bible artifacts for the kids.

While traveling through the museum the children will hear a CD explain Joseph’s coat of many colors, Moses’ staff, David’s harp, Josiah’s scroll, and Mary’s jar of perfume.

Crafts, Lessons, Games, Music, and small Snacks provided. Come join the fun and don't forget to bring a friend!
